Now this story starts wayyy back before I can even remember.. No seriously! Jacob is my closest cousin, who I grew up with and often visited and spent many holidays, birthdays, and moments with from even the earliest time in my life. Getting to watch him grow up, alongside myself, has been nothing short of special, and now getting to watch him and Cassandra flourish on their journey of love and commitment to one another, truly is something incredible.

I remember first meeting Cassandra years ago at a house warming party for Jacob, as he had recently became a home owner at the time, and immediately she was welcoming and fit into our family perfectly. Her kindness and laughter was so contagious. She is and always has been beaming like a ray of sunshine at golden hour. From growing up with Jake's quiet, witty, and mature self, we all knew Cassandra was exactly the balance he needed.

Together the two have spent a handful of years traveling, adventuring, and attending sporting events across the United States. Being big fans of hockey, Jacob and Cassandra often attend our local Hershey Bears hockey games. After a simple and intimate proposal at home, together the two ventured out the same day for a dinner and chocolate martinis to celebrate, dressed in their Hershey Bear Calder Cup Champ gear ready to head to the 2023 Calder Cup banner raising at the Giant Center! Truly an ode to their love of the game and of course, who wouldn't love a chocolate martini to celebrate such an amazing moment?!

I have had the pleasure of watching their love grow, and I am even more honored to have been asked to come along on their big day and photograph their engagement photos and wedding day itself! It truly was the easiest YES I have ever said in my life, too! I cannot wait to see where life takes these two, and to be there every step of the way to capture their memories and continue to feel their love radiate.
